We started our group in the spring of 2004 just to sing songs in our local church. We started getting calls from other churches and first thing we knew, God had us on the road traveling throughout Oklahoma and parts of Kansas. We have recorded three albums in this time period and hoping to record our fourth one this year. We go where the Lord leads us and we love being able to do the ministry that God chose us to do.
We have been asked several times before what style of music do we play. We don't stick to any one style like a lot of groups do. We want to try to do them all. I guess that's why we still use words, cause we learn so many, that we don't have time to memorize each one. So give us a call and have us come and sing for you.
Larry Brown sings bass vocals for the group and plays guitar. Larry is a concrete finisher when we're not singing.
Carol Brown, Larry's wife, sings lead vocals for the group. Carol works for OSU foundation. Carol & Larry were married in August of 1970
Randy Hart sings baritone for the group and tries to play the mandolin. I have been trying to learn this instrument for about 4 years now and not really any better than when I started. I know just enough to get me by. I never have learned to play and sing at the same time though.Ha!! Praise God
Linda Hart, Randy's wife, sings soprano for the group. Linda works for a doctor's office in Stillwater. Linda and Randy were married in December of 1970 and have one son, Doug, Daughter-in-law,Viktoria, And three grandchildren, Tristan, Amberlee, & Symphony
Miss Judy Swearngin plays piano for the group. Miss Judy lives in Stillwater and is a big part of the group. None of us reads music, so Judy has to find a key to fit all our voices and transposes the music to that key.
